The reason we're different
How a product earns a place on the shelf.
We're a pharmacist-curated store, not a marketplace. Nothing is listed because a brand paid for it — every product is chosen, ranked, and rated by a licensed pharmacist.
Our method
- 01
Start from the concern, not the category
Every aisle begins with a real problem — “baby eczema”, not “skin care”. We map what people actually ask a pharmacist at the counter, then build the shelf around those questions.
- 02
Screen against the clinical evidence
A licensed pharmacist reviews the active ingredients, the Health Canada monograph or NPN/DIN status where it applies, and the published trial data. Marketing claims carry no weight here.
- 03
Rank free and low-cost options first
If a home remedy or a technique works as well as a product, it goes above the product. We would rather you spend nothing than spend badly.
- 04
Rate the evidence honestly — including when it's weak
Every pick carries an evidence tier. Some of our products are “traditional use” or “anecdotal”, and we say so on the card rather than implying more certainty than exists.
- 05
Re-check the shelf
Formulations change, products get discontinued, and new trials land. Aisles are revisited so the shelf reflects what a pharmacist would recommend today.
Still want a second opinion?
Our pharmacists are the same people who build these shelves. Meet the team, or browse the aisles to see the method in practice.
